Christopher & Banks is an American retail chain that specialize in women's clothing, focusing on the 40-60 aged demographic. I worked at the corporate headquarters in Plymouth, MN for ten years as the Senior Graphic Designer in the Visual Merchandising Department, also supporting the Marketing and Store Operations Departments. At that time, there were over 600 retail stores across America.

Visual Merchandising Updates (VMU)
These monthly 25-30 page document introduce the store employees to the new collection of clothing arriving in their stores. Each month, the stores completely resets their store. These floorset change-out directions tell store employees how set up displays, which outfits to feature, where products need to be merchandised throughout the store, and where to place new signing.

Behind the Scenes Reels
I shot and edited video clips of each department inside Christopher & Banks's headquarters. The goal was to explain to hew hires what each department within the company does, and to show how all of the services come together from concept to design to production and distribution.

THIS PROJECT WAS A CLOSE COLLABORATION WITH CHRISTOPHER & BANK'S IN-HOUSE VISUAL MERCHANDIZING TEAM.
SUZI RIPORTELLA PROVIDED CREATIVE DIRECTION + PHOTO STYLING. TRICIA COOK MANAGED LOGISTICS AND PRODUCTION.
